Welcome to the internet home of  Lisa King Orthodontics!  This website will help familiarize you with our office and the profession of orthodontics.   Our office is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and our team's top priority is to provide you the highest quality orthodontic care in a friendly, comfortable environment.  We utilize the latest technological advances in the industry, such as invisible ceramic braces and Invisalign®, along with the latest in computer technology (digital imaging and advanced computer graphics) to ensure that you receive the most effective care possible.

• Dr. King is an orthodontic specialist.
  Dr. King has three years of specialized orthodontic training in addition to dental school

• Dr. King is board-certified!
  Through rigorous studies and examinations, Dr. King has attained certification with the American Board of Orthodontics

• We get you in and out of braces during your estimated treatment time!
  Dr. King and her team effectively manage our planned treatment and encourage cooperation of patients to complete treatment during the estimated time period.  Through her specialized training, Dr. King can determine the best treatment options available to her patients and will monitor your treatment closely.

• We keep you informed of your treatment progress.
  We make every effort to keep you informed of your treatment progress at each appointment.  We update photos to discuss any changes in your treatment plan or any other suggestions to keep your treatment on track.  Dr. King and her staff always make time to address your questions and/or concerns at each visit.

• We keep your dentist informed of your treatment progress.
  Your dentist will receive information about your treatment plan and updates of this information.  X-rays and photos are forwarded to your dentist, so these records do not have to be repeated at each office.  We send a full report at the completion of treatment.

• Dr. King places the braces herself.
  Indirect bonding allows Dr. King to place the brackets accurately and minimize your appointment time.  The placement of the braces is the most important aspect of the treatment process.  Dr. King always places the braces herself to ensure the best possible results

• We do not recycle braces...EVER!
  Each patient's treatment plan is unique, so we do not believe in recycling braces.  You can rest assured that all braces in our office are manufactured for each individual case and we will NEVER recycle braces.

• We treat adults, as well as, adolescents and children.
  Many of our patients are adults, and we understand the needs and concerns our adult patients have in regards to orthodontic care.  We strive to make adult treatment as comfortable and convenient as possible.

HIGH-TECH

• We utilize the latest technology in orthodontic appliances. 
  We are proud to offer the latest orthodontic appliances available to you, including ceramic braces, "mini" metal braces and Invisalign.
  
  
• We have an on-site lab.  
  We make the majority of our orthodontic appliances and retainers in the office so Dr. King can communicate directly with the lab technician.  This allows us to deliver retainers quickly and reduces the shifting of teeth once the braces are removed.    

• Digital imaging enhances your experience. 
  Digital imaging helps you better understand your treatment options and helps Dr. King plan the best possible treatment available to you.    

• We are certified in Invisalign technology! 
  Dr. King is certified to use Invisalign as a treatment option!  Invisalign straightens your teeth without the use of wires or brackets by using a series of clear, customized aligners.  Check with Dr. King to see if Invisalign is right for you!
  
  
• We use the most up-to-date sterilization processes. 
  Your safety is of the utmost importance to us.  We always sterilize our instruments after every use and we use single-use/disposable items when possible.

FUN!

• Earn stamps and win prizes! 
  Stamps are given for good patient cooperation and oral hygiene.  We also give rewards for various activities.  Stamped cards can be redeemed for prizes including movie tickets and restaurant gift cards.
  
  
• Look for ongoing contests.
  There are ongoing contests every few weeks.  We let our patients be the winners, but we also let our community win with benefits for the Humane Society, UNM Children's Hospital, troops overseas, KOATS for KIDS, a canned food drive, and a school supply drive.  

• Let us come to your classroom, baseball team, or scout troop. 
  We come to classrooms to speak about good oral hygiene tips and smart snacks for healthy teeth.  We also welcome small groups in the office for an orthodontic field trip.
